Project Background
As part of a group-wide finance transformation initiative, Generali is replacing local SAP systems with a centralized S/4HANA platform. The goal is to standardize and harmonize accounting processes across entities, improve data consistency, and enable streamlined reporting and governance.
The transformation program is structured into several key workstreams (stated only those where we need coordination):- P2P & SG&A (Procure-to-Pay) – to migrate procurement processes into central IT solution plus corresponding payment management
- R2R & Core reporting (Record-to-Report) – to migrate accounting processes and corresponding reporting into central IT solution
- CoA – to align local charter of accounts (CoA) with the group CoA
- E2E FDP implementation (end-to-end Financial Data Platform) – FDP is core data platform of central IT solution. This workstream aims to get data from local data feeders, transform and store data, provide data to central S/4, and provide relevant data backflow to local systems
The project is clustered into several waves. CEE countries are included in
- Wave 1 (1.9.2025 – 31.12.2026): Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia / Montenegro
- Wave 2 (1.9.2026 – 31.12.2027): Czech Republic and Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia
- One new colleague would coordinate R2R, core reporting, and the CoA stream;
- The other would coordinate P2P, SG&A, and the E2E FDP implementation.
